BOB MOODY

Bob Moody

It is with great sadness that we have to report the sudden death of Branch Chair, Bob Moody, on 28th June 2004.

Bob was a long standing trade unionist, active in the NUM before joining NUPE as a Ranger at Bestwood Country park.

He was a steward in the former Leisure Services Department before Local Govt Reorganisation and was Convenor for the successor Community Services Department. After serving as Branch Welfare Officer for many years, he became Branch Chair in January 2004.

He will be greatly missed by friends and colleagues. Our thoughts are with his family at this time.

The Branch will be considering how we can commemorate Bob and the years of service he gave to UNISON members and the wider trade union movement.
