      Moray Unison Wins National Award

Moray UNISON’s Website has won an award in the “Best Use of Electronic Media” Category at  UNISON Scotland’s Organising Communications 2003/4 Awards.  We were presented with the £250 prize at a ceremony held at the Hilton Grosvener Hotel in Glasgow on Friday, 20th February 2004.

Moray UNISON was singled out for the award from branches representing Local Government, Education, Health, Utilities and the Community and Voluntary Sector throughout the whole of Scotland.

The judges felt that our website was full of good quality publicity promoting both local and national activities, and provided ideas and inspiration for other branches.  Particular mention was made of promoting the lifelong learning agenda as it provided a learning opportunity for a member to undergo personal development with website designing.

We should give ourselves a big pat on the back!!
