March 2003 - THIRTY B52 SUPPORT VEHICLES DISABLED AT RAF
FAIRFORD 22nd February 2003 - Plymouth - over 400 people marched through Plymouth against the war. Marchers sat down across a major highway and brought traffic to a standstill. Two organisers were arrested, charged and held for seven hours, following the arrests the march went to the police station and sat down, closing the main route through the city. A protest was planned for Wednesday outside the magistrates court when the arrested protesters were due in court. If convicted they could face a six month prison sentence and lose their careers. Statements of complaint should be addressed to the Chief Inspector, Devon & Cornwall Constabulary, Crownhill Police Station, Plymouth.
