Defend George Galloway MP - The Stop the War Coalition fully supports George Galloway against this vicious witch-hunt. Galloway's crime has been his principled opposition to the war on Iraq. The Stop the War Coalition calls for George Galloway's suspension from the Labour Party to be lifted immediately and for an independent inquiry into whether there has been collusion between British security services and others against the MP. We would strongly urge you to do the following:

Somerset County UNISON Branch is affliated with the Taunton Deane Stop the War Coalition. Another motion in support of the Coalition was passed at the AGM on 19th March. Are you in a union? Please help the Coalition by contacting your branch and asking them to support the Coalition.

You can help the Coaliton by coming along to meetings, making a donation, joining the demonstrations, by attending peace vigils, by writing to or faxing your local MP (make it easy by visiting faxyourmp.com), Councillor, the Prime Minister and local and national press. You can also help by putting a poster up in your window, car, workplace, school or college, local shops, parish or church notice boards, by wearing a badge or symbol of peace, and simply by talking to people and raising awareness of our Coalition and our aims.
