Branch
AGM 2005- |
Nursery Nurses are the largest single professional group delivering education to Scotland's children - UNISON want their pay to reflect the importance of the job they do. The Moray UNISON branch is actively supporting nursery nurses throughout Moray in achieving this claim. |

For too long the
qualifications and experience required to undertake the job are not reflected
in the low pay which they take home and have had a long running campaign for a
Scottish review and reassessment of their pay, following major changes in
their jobs and responsibilities.
Unfortunately they have been forced to take action to demonstrate to their employers their determination to achieve their claim. There will be a rolling programme of action taking a mixture of strike action and a boycott of duties added to the job over the years that have not been recognised Message to the public - we apologise if our action has inconvenienced you in any way, but please support the nursery nurses in achieving a fair deal. For up-to-date information, please contact your local branch steward/officer for information on how it will effect you and of progress to date.
