The role of the steward can be very rewarding for individuals.  As well as offering support to colleagues, the personal advantages can be significant in terms of training, confidence building and providing variety from the usual work routine.  Stewards are entitled to time off work to carry out their duties and receive full training.

Or why not become a workplace contact, health and safety representative or a lifelong learning adviser.  Please visit our recruitment section to find out more or get in touch with the branch office if you would like more information.
