The Apple Internet Connection Kit is supplied by Apple to be used to connect to the internet.
This page will show you how to configure it to connect to your ISP.
The main screen in the AICK is the Launcher (shown Below), This allows easy access to all the internet programs.
Click on Apple Internet Dialer.
Enter your username and password for your dialup connection as supplied by your isp along with the dialup number provided.
Click next
Enter the following information:
NNTP Host: news.myisp.com
SMTP Host: mail.myisp.com
POP Server: mail.myisp.com
Email Address: [email protected]
Domain Name: www.myisp.com
DNS Addresses: 212.85.249.130 and 212.1.130.32
Click on NEXT and skip the CONNECTION SCRIPT OPTIONS. You may need to restart the machine now.
To connect to your isp, go to the LAUNCHER, ensure that the correct modem is selected and click on DIAL PHONE.
