SPEAKMAN of Essex
The earliest proven SPEAKMAN is Thomas SPAKEMAN who was born about 1661 in Hildersham Cambridgeshire. He was married about 1694. At some point he moved to Essex because in 1696 the first of a series of children were baptised in Finchingfield.
By the 1750's the family had moved to Gosfield. After this time the family began to spread out with branches establishing themselves at Terling, Fairstead, Hatfield Peveral and Chelmsford.
This tree contains 210 direct decsendants of Thomas SPAKEMAN spanning 12 generations.
There are quite a number of different, but connected, families within the tree and not all branches have been fully documented or details proven.
