FARROW of Essex

In this tree the known variants of the name FARROW are FERRER, FERRAR, FARRER, FURRELL

The earliest Farrow in this line is Thomas FERRAR. He was a gradute of Cambridge University and when he died he was Rector of Langham Church, which is near Colchester, Essex. There are no surviving parish records for Langham for the time of his death, which has been approximated from his Will which was proven in 1607. An Anthony was mentioned in his Will and it has been assumed that this refers to Anthony Ferrer who was probably born no later than 1580. Anthony Ferrer's line can be proved upto my wife and so research is being carried out to find another link between Anthony and Thomas.

At present the more active research that is being carried out is to discover living relatives.
