| Tax Refund for UNISON members |
| UNISON members have a chance
to get overpaid tax refunded for free. Since 1994, the Tax Refund Company (operated
by Personal Taxation Services Ltd) have recovered over �7 million in tax
refunds for union members ; most didn't believe they were owed a refund and only used the
service because there is no charge unless you get a refund. Over �700,000
of this has gone to some 5,800 UNISON members who completed and sent off the
form. The
Tax Refund Company is fully endorsed by UNISON.
The service is totally free. The operating company deduct 40p from every � refunded as their payment.
