Each age group winner in each competition earns their team a point. These points are accumulated throughout the events and the score in the hockey match is added, with one goal being worth one point. The winning team is the one with the most points at the end of the tournament.
Shooting accuracy is a test of just that. Each shooter has 1 minute to take 10 shots at goal, 1 point is awarded for a goal and 5 points if one of the two targets suspended within the goal mouth, each about 50x20cm's, is hit.

The slalom involves each player dribbling a ball around a number of obstacles, as in skiing a missed gate resulted in disqualification.

Skate Hockey penaties are taken by a player dribbling the ball from the halfway line and trying to score past a goalkeeper who is allowed to move from the moment the ball is first touched. Similar to soccer shootouts the format is best of five with sudden death to follow in case of a tie.

The speed skating competition is run in a mini knockout format, four skaters from each team competing head to head with the winner progressing to the next round.
