RMS - Replacement Membership Records System

The new Replacement Records System (RMS) which is a newly designed computerised system for keeping a log of members' details and is a superior replacement of the old UMR system, is currently being piloted within the West Midlands Region. It is hoped the new system will be "rolled out" to individual branches during 2004/5, which will then give your local branch the ability to amend membership data directly onto the single national database via Internet access.

How can you help us? By making sure the information on our records is correct. Many people assume the City Council inform us of changes of name, address and workplace.
They don't!!.
If you are not receiving your Unison magazine it is likely your details are incorrect and needs updating..
Remember therefore, should your personal details change, the onus is on your our member to contact us!

The system is only as good as the information input on to it and if you do change name, address or workplace in future, please, please, please let us know so that Unison's Service to you is maintained and you are kept abreast of all developments via the magazine.
