15 from 17 entries started off at 10am on 29th February 2004 from St Michaels Church Hall, Hamworthy (GR: SY 9830 9110) for a pleasant ride on a crisp balmy day which saw us rise to the still snow white ridges of one of Dorset's high spots near Ashmore. The weather was kind to us. A moderate breeze was at us from just ahead of starboard on the way out which strengthened in places against us on the return. With it came a cold front of which some of us caught the edge whilst most just saw the rain fall in a distant shower.
14 finished the event with one turning for home. One chap lost his way close to the finish which put him just at the limits of time allowed. Our thanks to Jack & Dot for doing the refreshments at the end, much appreciated.
