Wessex DA CTC100 miles in 8 hours

Eight noble spirits entered and two remained spirits as six set off at 8am into an overcast grey Dorset day. The wind was kind and showed its presence by a gentle nudge through the lanes from Puddletown on. There were places where riders entered the low cloud as it clung to the ridge line especially around the head of the Piddle Valley at Buckland Newton but other than that surface water was the worst of things.

Congratulations go to:

Dave Allen (6hrs 15min)
Steven Gould (7hrs)
Frank Moorhouse (7hrs)
Graham Starmer (7hrs)
and on tandem
Annemarie Manley & Nigel Winter (7hrs 5Min)

Riders enjoyed the route and found it a fair event for a CTC club ride.
