Roger Sylvester

The Roger Sylvester Justice Campaign is supported by the BMG.  Roger Sylvester was a 30 year old black man who died whilst in police custody.

Stephen Lawrence

The Stephen Lawrence case was followed closely by the BMG.  Recommendations of the McPherson report regarding institutional racism were discussed with UCL Personnel on 9^th February 2000, with the view to opening up job opportunities to people from Black and ethnic minorities.
