Conference
UNISON
conferences are the policy making and sovereign body of the union,
which is why they are so important
This
is the reason why UCL Branch makes every effort to attend UNISON
Conferenceswhich include the National UNISON Conference, HE UNISON
National Conference, UNISON Black Members Conference, UNISON Womens
conference and the UNISON Welfare Conference.
UCL
Branch often exercises its democratic rights and submit motions
for consideration by these conferences on issues that the branch
determines there needs to be a policy change. All motions submitted
to conference must be first heard at a members or committee meeting
with good notice of motion so that an informative discussion can
be had. Any member can submit a motion and this must be sent to
the branch Chair Ms Jane Ferrie [email protected]
or sent to Jane at the Epidemiology dept UCL, Gower St, LONDON WC1E
6BT. The next members meeting is:-
