In the name of God Amen. The fifth day of July in the year of our Lord one
thousand six hundred and ninety nine in the eleventh year of the Reign of our
Sovereign Lord King William of England, Scotland France and Ireland
Defender of the faith. I John Bradlaugh of Brandeston in the County of
Suffolk, Yeoman, in health of body and of good and sound mind and
disposing memory prayed to God for the same and confessing ........ of death
and the time when or manner thereof do make and ordains this my last Will
and Testament in ........ and forms following first and principally I commit my
soul into your merciful hand of Almighty God my maker .......... to have the
same except in and through the movik of Jesus Christ my saviour and my
body I commit to the earth ....... ....... according to the direction of my
Executor hereafter named and as to my temporall estate I dispose ..........
Imprinis Item I give and bequeath unto William Bradlaugh my son all my ......
lands and tenements both free ..... ........ and being in Brandiston and
Cretingham or any other towns now adjoying to the sayd William my son and
his heirs ....... Item I give unto Reacholl Wright my Daughter the sum of five
pounds to be payd within three months after my death if she shall be living
then. Item I give unto Tho Wright my Grand child the sum of five shillings to
be paid within three months after my death. Item I give unto Racholl Wright
my Grandchild the sum of five shillings to be paid within three months after
my death. Item I give and bequeath unto Susan Briton my daughter the sum
of ten pounds to be payed within one year after my death. If she should then.
Item I give David Briton my Grand child the sum of ten shillings to be payd
when he shall attain tha age of one and twenty years. Item I give unto Mary
Briton the sum of ten shillings to be paid when she should attain the age of
one and twenty years. Item I give unto Thos Ford the sum of Forty shillings
to be paid out ........... .......... as my Executor shall think fit. I give and
Bequeath unto William Bradlaugh my son all my movable goods chattels and
.......... to him and his heirs for ever and I do further nominate and Appoint
William Bradlaugh my son to be my Sole Executor. My last Will and
testament revoking all other former wills an testamonts hereto etc.
