There were no major changes of style of the front cover during this period however there were subtle changes on the spine. From 1911 until about 1918 at the very top of the spine they were still called 1/- NET (one shilling or 5p being the price of the guide). The next subtle change was this notation was dropped presumably because of a price increase and the band was blank, this took place between 1918 and 1919. From 1919 until 1925 this band was occuupied by four squares, from 1925 until 1932 the band had either four squares or a single square. Although the large Coat of Arms was used as a front cover fro 1911 until 1932 it can sometimes be found outside this main age range.
