In the Name of God Amen I John Bradlaugh of Brandeston Cooper being weak in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory blessed be Almighty God for the same Do make and publish this my Last Will and Testamentin manner and form following, tha t is to say First I give and bequeath unto my Wife Susan Bradlaugh the sum of two shillings a week for four years out in my stock and ten pounds to be lodged in my Executors Hands from the time of Settling my Accounts to be paid to my wife if sh e should survive the four years at two shillings a weekif she should not survive the four years then the ten pounds to be equally divided between my Son John Bradlaugh (BK ref 1329) and my daughter Mary Bradlaugh (BK Ref 1330) also bequeat h to my Wife one bed as it stands I do also give and bequeath to my Daughter Mary Bradlaugh the sum of ten pounds that is in my Brother Thos Bradlaughs (BK Ref 1317) Hands I do also give and bequeath to my Son John Bradlaugh all my Stock in Trad e and remainder of my household stuff after my just debts and funeral expenses are paid with the two shillings weekly for four years to my wife as before mentioned, I also devise , if my son John Bradlaugh should not pay to my wife as before menti oned my Executor s to sell anything of stock or household stuff for the paymentthereof I also appoint Thomas Bradlaugh Snr (BK Ref 1309) and John Garrett Executors of this my last Will and Testament in Witness thereof I have hereunto set my han d and Seale this twenty eigth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand seven Hundred and seventy three.

In the Name of God Amen this eighth day of May in the year of our Lord one
thousand seven hundred twenty five I William Bradlaugh of Brandeston in
the County of Suffolk yeoman renouncing all former Wills do make this my
last testament of all ........ Real and Personal Estates the Almighty God hath
given me in this world in manner and form following Imprimis I give and
devise of my Messuages lands and tenements as well freehold or copyhold
situate lying and being in Brandeston aforesaid and Kettleburgh in the said
County unto Thomas Bradlaugh my son (BK ref 1309)his heirs and assignes
for ever subject now ............ and liable to and charges with the payments
herein after mentioned (that is to say) that he the said Thomas Bradlaugh his
heirs or assignes shall well and truly pay arrange to be paid out of the said
messuages Land and ......... the annual sum of nine pounds of lawful money
of Great Britain, to Mary my wife during the term of her natural life at the ........
of St Michael? the Archangel and the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin
Mary by even and equal portions the first payment thereof to commence at ...
of the said ..... shall first happen after my ........... And that he the said
Thomas Bradlaugh his heirs or assignes shall well and truly pay arrange to
be paid to Susan my daughter(Bk Ref 1310) the wife of Thomas Durrant the
sum of thirty pounds of like lawful money within two years after my decease
and to each of her four children five pounds of lawful money at their severall
and respective ages of four and twenty years. And that the said Thomas
Bradlaugh his heirs or assignes shall well and truly pay arrange to be paid
unto ............ my daughter (BK Ref 1312), the wife of John Petrhy the ...... ......
..... of five pounds of like lawful money until the sum of forty pounds so fully
satisfied and paid, if the said .... shall so ....., the first payment thereof to
commence three years after my decease. And that the said Thomas
Bradlaugh his heirs or assignes shall well and truly pay arrange to be paid
unto the four children of my late daughter Mary (BK Ref 1314) ........ forty
shillings apiece of like lawful money to be paid at their severall and
respective ages of four and twenty years. And also to William Bradlaugh (BK
Ref 1803) if living the sum of five pounds of like lawful money. Item I give
unto the said Mary my wife a bed bedhead and furniture sufficient for one
room to be by her chosen out of my estate Item after payment of my debts
and gains and funeral expenses and probate of this will I give the overplus
of my ....... estate unto the said Thomas Bradlaugh his heirs and assignes
........ the overplus of my Real Estate to him and his heirs for ever. Item I
nominate constitute and appoint the said Thomas Bradlaugh Sole executor of
this my last will and testament, desiring him to see the ....... tactfully and
formal as my trust and confidence is in him .......... In witness whereof to this
my last will and testament contained in one sheet of paper the said William
Bradlaugh have hereunto put my hand and seal the day ............. .........
