-was a founder member of seminal English ceilidh bands Flowers and Frolics and Gas Mark 5.
-was the leader of The Dan Quinn Trio and The Dan Quintet featuring Ken Lees and Sue Bainbridge, now of The Posh Band.
- performs with Will Duke at clubs and festivals.
-plays in new dance band Used Notes.
