The longest points scoring streak in club history ended on Saturday.
After 10 months, 18 games, 27 goals and 11 assists Magnus Laurenson was denied
a point by the post, twice, and a stunning glove save from Jonathan Sandilands.
After two goalless periods the breakthrough for Black came when Ben Davis received
a minor penalty for high sticking. Robert Hannah scored the power play goal
with an unassisted strike from left slot.
The final period opened with Jared Deeney, himself on an 11 match streak, equalizing
off a fortunate deflection. Ruairidh Mackenzie put Black back in front less
than a minute later combining well with Robert Hannah. Ruairidh's enthusiasm
got the better of him in the final minute when he received a minor penalty for
charging the keeper. The resulting power play left enough space for Andy Harper
to convert Jared Deeneys centering pass to tie the match 2 - 2.

The Peewee's played what is becoming their customary 3 way round robin. In the first match Red beat White 1 - 0, the winning goal scored unassisted by Joe O'Connor. Red then took on Blue and again Joe O'Connor scored this time off a Kieran Smith centering pass late in the second period for a 1 - 0 victory. The final game between White and Blue ended in a 0 - 0 draw, Danny Mullay working hard in the Blue defence to deny James Nicolson.
Red came out comfortable winners with 4 points to White and Blues 1. Most valuable players Danny Mullay and James Nicolson.
