Peewee Games, 3 way round robin. Hurricanes win with 3 points, Dragons second with 2 points and Orcas third with 1 point.
Dragons 0 - 1 Hurricanes
The Hurricanes benefited from another fast start by Joe O'Connor in the first
Peewee game. He picked up a poor Dragon clearance on halfway, wrong footed the
advancing defenders and fired the puck low into the left corner for the only
goal of the match.
Dragons 3 - 0 Orcas
The Dragons were more focused by the time they played the Orcas, Amy Harper
converted a centering pass from Kieran Smith in the first half, provided the
through ball for Alec Watt to score early in the second and finished the match
by firing home the rebound from Kieran Smiths shot.
Hurricanes 1 - 1 Orcas
In the final game John McDiarmid scored the opening goal having been picked
out on the left face off circle by Magnus Johnson. The Orcas struggled to get
their game together throughout the first half and it was late in the second
before James Nicolson finally broke through the Hurricanes defense to score
an unassisted equaliser.

Junior Game, Dragons 7 - 1 Hurricanes
On paper the Junior teams looked well matched but whilst Antony Okill and Andy Harper struggled to find their rhythm Magnus Laurenson and Emily Garrick played magnificently for the Dragons. Three on Three hockey, particularly with a puck, gives plenty of time and space to make your plays. Emily drew two defenders deep right and still found time to look up and play a perfect pass for Magnus to tap in. Magnus scored an unassisted goal late in the first when Andy Harpers clearance rebounded off a skate into his path.
Antony Okill sent Andy Harper free to score for the Hurricanes early in the second and whilst Christopher Storey kept the Dragons at bay for most of the period the rot set in when Emily Garrick scored with only second left. Magnus Laurenson added 2 goals in the third and another two in the fourth period to end a miserable day for the Hurricanes.
