The penultimate match of the season was well attended by the under 13's but a little thin on older players. In the event there were enough for two matches. The highlight of the Peewee game was the performance of two of the girls. Amy Harper has shown all season that she is a more than capable player and she teamed up well with John McDiarmid to score one goal and showed speed and determination to score a second. Roseanne Watt on the otherhand has left it late in the season to show her best. As well as scoring the Dragons only goal she provided much needed pace in attack and was often found putting in vital tackles in defence.
The final score of Hurricanes 3 - 1 Dragons was more indicative of the lack of attacking options from the Dragons than any overall superiority from the Hurricanes.

The Junior game provided an opportunity for some of the more experienced Peewee's to play up a level and all aquitted themselves well. Whilst Magnus Laurenson with 2 goals and an assist, and Andy Harper with 1 goal and an assist, dominated the point scoring for the Hurricanes, Scott Lawson managed 2 goals for the Dragons with Jared Deeney converting a reverse pass from Kieran Smith to end the match at 3 - 3.

With the exception of the Peewee bronze, where there are still 6 players in contention, the points medals look pretty much settled. Both MVP awards are now two horse races and the Peewee defender title is wide open.
