West Norfolk Waders...

...is the local group of the RSPB Wildlife Explorers* serving the King's Lynn & West Norfolk area.

It is a voluntary group established within the national framework of Wildlife Explorers groups supporting the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds.

The ages of present members range generally from 8 years to 13 years although younger children are welcome when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Membership of the group is not restricted to members of the Wildlife Explorers or RSPB although the benefits of national membership are both acknowledged and encouraged.

* Previously known as the YOC, the new name reminds us that birds cannot live without the help of all of the other wildlife - insects and seed for food, trees and hedges for shelter, and even predators to remove the sick and old.
