[Sports & Social Activities] 

My role is to:

  1. Organise events for branch members.
  2. Assess the feasibility of requests for social events from branch members, and reports requests to the branch committee.
  3. Co-ordinate the branch gymnasium booking system and induction process.

WHAT SPORTS & SOCIAL ACTIVITIES ARE AVAILABLE TO MEMBERS?

  • Free use of the Unison Gym at the Civic Centre (all participants need to have an induction assessment - for an application form please contact the branch office). Note: This facility is only available to City of Stoke On Trent Council Employees.
  • The opportunity to participate in Five A Side Football and Cricket Competitions throughout the summer.
  • FREE Membership at Rileys Snooker Club - Cannon St, Hanley, Stoke On Trent. Telephone 01782 212111.  To become a member just take your Unison Membership card.  Offers can include 1/2 price table play every visit, 25% off  menu price and free staff parties.

Social Activities (available to members and their families) are advertised via the Unison Contacts who volunteer to display information on notice boards, team mail and on the What's Hot Section of this site.
