Charles Edward?
The FLETCHER family worked for Midland Railway and moved extensively between Derby and London, and Nottingham and London, before finally moving back to Derbyshire and settling in Long Eaton at Midland Terrace, which was owned by the company. My great grandfather, Thomas Thompson FLETCHER, moved to London where he became Chief Telegraphist at St. Pancras and his family married and settled there - the reason for my being a north Londoner! His father, John, started life as a sawyer, probably with his father who was a park keeper, perhaps at the Derby arboritum. John's father-in-law, John COPESTICK (COPESTAKE), was a railway guard and in due course John became the foreman of the Midland Railway goods department at Nottingham, near the Meadows where the family lived in Queens Drive and Thomas was born.
